Seasonal bushcraft days: Spring

For ages 8 plus accompanied by an adult. £50 per adult £30 per child

This 4 part course is designed to help explain the everyday skills needed to live in, and enjoy, the natural world over the course of the year covering all 4 seasons. The course will give you a comprehensive guide to using the natural resources available in the wild at that time of the year and how to use them to your benefit.

Spring

Spring, a time for rebirth and new growth. On this course we will cover fire, including fire by friction and modern methods, different fire lays and natural tinder, simple natural shelters and beds, tapping trees for sap and its uses, working with birch bark and barkcraft, using pine resin and spruce roots as well as a seasonal forage for wild foods and medicines.
