This 4 part course is designed to help explain the everyday skills needed to live in and enjoy the natural world over the course of the year covering all 4 seasons. The course will give you a comprehensive guide to using the natural resources available in the wild and how to use them to your benefit.
Autumn
Time for the harvest and the great change in the woods. This course covers making jerky and preserving meat and fruits, building a smoker and using ‘smudge fires’, knife craft and green wood working, making an atlatl, animal tracks and sign identification, as well as a seasonal forage for wild foods, mushrooms and medicines.
